Star Trek War and Peace

So I watched Star Trek Discovery Pilot and... Wow it was Pretty
Now over the summer I found the novelization of Star Trek 6 the Undiscovered County and was noticing the parallels in origin between Commander Michael Burnham and LT Valeris  (and before anyone says "Well Michael Burnham should be compared to Worf" No Worf never mutinied against Piccard or Sisko nor murdered a Romulan in an act of rage ) and got to thinking this puts Spocks Role in Undiscovered Country in a whole new light I mean Spock was on the Enterprise under Captain Pike at the time his Adopted Sister assassinated T'Kuvma uniting the Empire against the Federation (We have no idea what happened to the rest of the crew.. the Klingons might have used biological attacks that Vulcans were immune to) and after the Praxis explosion Spock could have took the opportunity to fix the mistakes his impulsive sister caused only for his protege to conspire against him to murder Chancellor Gokon and nearly getting his two best friends Killed to start another pointless war.
