In 1969 18 year old Pamela Hemsley discovered she had Super Strength with the ability to create a metallic skin she became member of the first all black super hero team, Soulful Seven as Soul Sister. in 1975 Pam and Doctor Nimbus were asked by the Olympian to replace two members of his super hero team temperately while Atomic Blonde was on leave there Sister Steel met veteran Superhero Man O' Metal

having similar powers Pam and the hero then in his late 50's stared an affair that ended in Marriage.
in 1979 the two teams went into battle where the villains combination of heat cold air and rock froze Sister Steel in a statue  that she wasn't able to break free from until 2014 leaning her Husband died in 88 Sister Steel leads the new Generation of Heroes Legacy one
