Magica and Nega Duck

I just got done reading the 4th issue of the Darkwing Duck comic and the last page has Nega Duck and Magica deSpell looking at DW through a crystal ball and 2 things poped into my head 1. are they a couple and 2. how is it that Magica never showed up in the Darkwing duck cartoon so I have a very Phantom of the Opera looking seen with Nega Duck keeping Scrooges number one dime out of her reach until he's done with her.
